  • large heat proof bowl
  • large towel
  • boiling water

How to Steam:

  1. Cleanse your face
  2. Fill a heat proof bowl with boiling water
  3. Add your customized herbs and essential oils
  4. Drape a towel over your head and the bowl, trapping the steam
  5. Sit for 5-10 minutes, breathing deeply (avoid steaming for too long since heat can dehydrate the skin)
  6. Dip a cloth into the (cooled!) water and tone your skin with the herbal-infused ‘tea’. If you wish, you can save the water in an air tight container in the fridge for a few days to use as a toner later.
  7. Follow up immediately with your serum, moisturizer, and/ or oil.
